The Story Behind Sable
Sable didn't come from a business plan.
It came from years of being a client first, showing up to class after class and noticing everything: the teachers who made me feel seen the moment I walked in, the ones who knew when to push and when to pull back, the classes that felt like the only part of the day that actually belonged to me.
And the ones that didn't feel like that at all.
When I moved to Kerry, I couldn't find what I was looking for. So I decided to build it.
I went into my certification thinking I had a pretty solid foundation. Spoiler: I did not. Years of Pilates, and I'd been doing most of it wrong. Completing my qualification with VIVA Pilates was the reset I didn't know I needed, learning the Pilates Principles properly and understanding the real intention behind every movement. Slower, more deliberate, and far more effective than anything I'd been doing before.
That's what Sable is built around.
This isn't a studio where you show up, get through a class plan, and leave. Every person who walks through the door matters, and my job isn't just to teach a class, it's to make sure you leave feeling something: stronger, clearer, more grounded than when you arrived.
What keeps people coming back isn't only the physical results, although those come too. It's that 45 minutes in the middle of whatever life is throwing at you where the only thing that matters is you. That never gets old.
I didn't build any of this alone. My partner Callum has been my number one supporter from the very first idea.
He's been there through all of it: the late nights of study, the excitement, the sore muscles, the second-guessing, and every small win along the way.
Sable became real because he believed in it as much as I did.
